The Language of Life - Colored

So, here's a colored version of my Language of Life picture... Thank you, Crayola colored pencils! I actually colored it really, REALLY lightly, though; so I did some photo editing to make the colors a little brighter, then edited some more to make the whole thing darker. I used a ballpoint pen to outline everything, by the way, which made everything look so much better in the end.

We're just going to ignore the fact that I can't draw humans at all, and that I can draw pokémon with only marginally more skill.

Eve Addamson is the worried-looking trainer, though she doesn't look exactly how she would in the story (there ought to be feathers in her hair, for one... and I think I ended up describing her hair as a bit shorter than that). Her pokémon are -

Thistle, a young and loving aerodactyl
Aiden, an exceedingly loyal and lovable arcanine
Pebble, a wise, 80+ years old dragonair
Blight, a mischief-loving haunter
Hannah, a battle-loving (but still kind and sensitive) meganium
